Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Kiyan Electric is a licensed, ESA-registered electrical contractor, master-electrician-led, and carries $5 million in liability insurance. Every job is done to Ontario Electrical Safety Code.
Do you charge for estimates?
No — estimates are free. Send the form or call and we'll give you a clear, itemized price before any work begins.
Which areas do you cover?
We're based in Richmond Hill and work across the Greater Toronto Area — York Region, Toronto, and the surrounding cities. If you're in the GTA, just ask.
Who actually shows up at my home?
A licensed electrician does the work — to ESA code, with permits pulled and inspection arranged where the job requires it.
Can you upgrade an old fuse panel or knob-and-tube wiring?
Yes. Fuse-to-breaker conversions, 60A-to-200A and 400A service upgrades, knob-and-tube replacement, and aluminum-to-copper conversions are core work for us.
Do you handle after-hours or emergency calls?
Our regular hours are Mon–Sat, 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM. After-hours and emergency maintenance is available for urgent electrical problems — call and we'll tell you what we can do.
Do you do commercial work, or just homes?
Both. Alongside residential work we handle commercial and industrial service upgrades, distribution boards, lighting retrofits, and maintenance.
